ArmInfo. On October 9, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated in a seminar on "The Current State and Prospects for the Development of Urban Development."
As noted in the ministry's statement, welcoming the meeting participants, Gevorg Papoyan emphasized the importance of creating the necessary conditions for attracting investment, sustainable development of the sector, and improving the living conditions of citizens. "Our goal should be to create conditions that will simultaneously promote investment, sustainable development of the sector, and the provision of high-quality and affordable housing for citizens," the minister noted.
The seminar discussed the prospects and current programs for the development of the urban development sector, as well as legislative and practical initiatives. The seminar addressed the application of modern approaches to urban development, improvement of the urban environment, sustainable and balanced development of human settlements, as well as the application of innovative solutions and best international practices in this sector.
The seminar participants emphasized the importance of further strengthening effective dialogue and cooperation between the public and private sectors as a key prerequisite for the sustainable development of the urban development sector, improving the investment climate, and implementing new programs.
