ArmInfo. The UAE-based retail chain LuLu Group International is interested in the Armenian market. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, citing the results of a meeting between the head of the ministry, Gevorg Papoyan, and the management of LuLu Group International.

The parties discussed the possibility of ensuring the presence of Armenian products in LuLu Group International hypermarkets and supermarkets. According to the Ministry of Economy's statement, they agreed to continue cooperation and organize a B2B meeting in Armenia to introduce LuLu Group International representatives to Armenian producers and their products.

According to the source, LuLu Group International operates in 22 countries, managing more than 280 hypermarkets and supermarkets.

The chain's primary presence is in the Middle East and Asia. LuLu Group International also operates the LuLu Hypermarket chain, which holds leading positions in several countries.

It should be noted that, according to the RA Statistics Committee, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the UAE increased by 35.7% in January-July 2026, reaching $291.1 billion. Exports, however, decreased by 19.5% to $23.8 million, while imports increased by 44.5% to $267.3 million.
