
ArmInfo. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the RA government press service reported.
The two leaders discussed the further development of Armenian-Turkmen relations and issues related to the bilateral agenda. They emphasized the importance of expanding trade and economic ties and taking consistent steps in this direction.
Nikol Pashinyan raised the issue of holding the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17) in Armenia in October of this year and invited Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Armenia to participate in the COP-17 Leaders' Summit.
The President of Turkmenistan gladly accepted the invitation.
