As noted in a statement provided to ArmInfo by Ardshinbank, AGE S.A. is subject to regulatory approval.
This transaction is in line with AGE S.A.'s commitment to (together with Arins Group LLC) to expand its presence in Europe and internationally, strengthen its service offerings, and deepen economic ties in key markets.
Georgia was chosen as a priority market for regional expansion due to its strong economic growth dynamics, proven and balanced macroeconomic policies, and effective financial sector oversight. It is a natural choice for the Group to begin its international expansion in neighboring Georgia.
The acquisition of Terabank JSC is expected to create significant opportunities to strengthen its position in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) segment, expand its corporate banking offerings, and build a scalable retail franchise in Georgia.
