Compared to the same period last year, state budget revenues increased by 14.9%, or 247.3 billion drams. This was stated in the report of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia on the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for January-July 2026.
According to the source, state budget expenditures of the Republic of Armenia in January-July 2026 amounted to 1.876 billion drams. Compared to the same period last year, state budget expenditures increased by 8.9%, or 153.7 billion drams.
In January-July 2026, the state budget of the Republic of Armenia was implemented with a surplus of 32.8 billion drams, compared to a deficit of 60.7 billion drams in the same period last year.
As a reminder, the state budget of Armenia for 2026 was approved with revenues of 3 trillion 91 billion drams and expenditures of 3 trillion 628 billion drams, with a deficit of 537 billion drams. Economic growth is projected at 5.4%.
