The U.S. shares its experience in AI application and automation with  Armenia

ArmInfo.  As part of a U.S. Department of State Professional Fellows Program (PFP)  reciprocal project, Vladimir Karyan, Head of Operational Risk  Management at Acba Bank and PFP alumnus, and Dr. Mariofanna Milanova,  Professor of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas, Little  Rock, brought their expertise in AI applications, agentic AI, and  fintech to Armenia,  reported by the US Embassy in Armenia. 

The project featured a series of practical trainings for students and  young professionals in Yerevan and Ijevan, covering AI applications  in fraud detection, building AI agents with multimodal models,  Retrieval- Augmented Generation (RAG), and the future of AI in  finance and banking.

They also visited U.S. Embassy Yerevan to discuss the project, their  professional experiences, and continued collaboration with Public  Diplomacy and Economic/Commercial section representatives.
