
ArmInfo. Tabriz - Yerevan flights will resume on August 20 after a two year break. Mohammad Ali Nael Karamaleki, Director General of East Azerbaijan Airports, told the Iranian publication Aftab News.
According to him, the flights will be operated by Pouya Airlines twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. The first flight from Tabriz to Yerevan will depart on August 20 at 9:00 a.m.
The Director General highlighted the importance of this route for the development of air traffic with the capital of Armenia, adding that the increase in the number of flights and the volume of passenger traffic indicates the process of normalizing operations and the imminent return of Shahid Madani International Airport to the system of effective service in the country's air transport network.
