Discussions held in Tbilisi to boost Armenian exports to Georgia

ArmInfo.A working meeting and panel discussion was held in Tbilisi, initiated by the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia, focusing on opportunities to export  Armenian food products, agricultural goods, natural mineral water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and other foodstuffs to Georgia. The event also aimed to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation and foster closer business ties.

According to the Press Service of the Armenian Embassy in Georgia,  the meeting was attended by the heads of sales and import departments  from nearly all of Georgia's largest retail and wholesale networks,  including Ori Nabiji, Carrefour, Agrohub, Ambari, Armenia, Daily  Group, Goodwill, Nikora, Smart Retail, Viva, and Zgapari, as well as  Sopio Kashakashvili, the Executive Director of the Georgian Retail  Association. In his opening remarks, shot Smbatyan, noted that the  primary objective of the meeting was to establish an effective,  professional platform to broaden cooperation, showcase existing  opportunities, and forge new business networks.

A presentation was delivered during the meeting highlighting  commercial proposals from Armenian export- oriented manufacturing  companies, a directory of export-ready goods, and operational data  from Armenian logistics firms.
