Armenian wine exports surge 53% in Jan- May 2026 - Arman Khojoyan

ArmInfo. Between January and May 2026, Armenia experienced a 53% surge in wine exports, as stated by Arman Khojoyan, Armenia's Deputy Minister of Economy, in an interview with an ArmInfo correspondent on the sidelines of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles international wine competition.

Khojoyan highlighted that the export footprint for the reporting  period spanned approximately 50 countries.  Furthermore, he noted  that Armenian wines are increasingly positioned on the global stage  as premium, high-quality products. In this regard, the Deputy  Minister emphasized that the success of Armenian wine should be  measured not merely by export volume, but by its price point and  strategic presence in international markets.

According to Khojoyan, the government is actively pursuing targeted  initiatives in this direction.  Prestigious events like the Concours  Mondial de Bruxelles, he added, play a vital role in boosting the  brand awareness of Armenian wine and unlocking fresh opportunities to  expand into new export markets.
