Armenia has significantly increased flower exports - Deputy Economy  Minister

ArmInfo. In 2024, flower exports totaled 566 tons, and by the end of 2025, it reached 1,320 tons, according to Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Arman Khojoyan.

According to him, this represents a total of 78 million flowers. The  main markets for Armenian flowers were the EAEU countries and the  UAE. The Deputy Minister noted that just 3-4 years ago, the maximum  tonnage of flower exports from Armenia was around 11 tons, while  today it exceeds 1,000 tons.

Khojoyan believes that this growth has been facilitated by the  development of greenhouses in Armenia, which allow for a controlled  environment and production regardless of the season. Specifically, he  noted, the government had supported the construction of greenhouses  through various tools, with a total area already reaching 85  hectares. By 2026, the area of new greenhouse farms is expected to  reach 64 hectares.
