ArmInfo. The new generation Internet is already in Armenia, this became possible thanks to the appearance of Starlink in the country. This was written by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on his Facebook account.
"Well, Starlink is officially in Armenia. We are pleased to announce that its services are now available in Armenia, providing fast and reliable satellite Internet from large cities to the most remote villages and hard- to-reach regions. This important step was made possible thanks to the joint and dedicated work of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Starlink and partners," the minister emphasized.
Hayrapetyan added that the appearance of Starlink will provide a new level of digital infrastructure, ensuring safe and high-quality connection, access to leading global services, new communication opportunities for everyone, regardless of location.
It should be noted that earlier the company distributed a message according to which Armenia became the 130th country in the world where Starlink started working. Elon Musk's project promises to provide "fast and stable internet" in both large cities and hard-to-reach corners of the country.
