ArmInfo. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) today celebrates 20 years since its founding. What began as a bilateral initiative has grown over two decades into one of the most respected multilateral development institutions in the Eurasian region, according to a statement from the Bank's press  service.

ArmInfo.  Armenia's economy continued to grow at a rapid pace in 2026. Anton Dolgovechny, Senior Analyst at the Center for Country Analysis of the EDB's Directorate for Research, announced this on June 15 during an online presentation on the new macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028.

Individuals are offered high earnings with supposedly no extra effort. In practice, this almost always means one thing: they want to extract information from you that you should never provide.

ArmInfo. In 2025, a total of 504.5 km of roads were built, reconstructed, repaired, and modernized in Armenia using state treasury funds, as stated by Davit Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure (MTAI), on March 18  meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. He was presenting a report on the progress and  achievements of the implementation of the Government Program  (2021-2026) for 2025.

ArmInfo. Since 2019, the trend of employment redistribution toward the service sector has intensified in Armenia  (from 54% in 2019 to 58% in 2024), according to the March Macroeconomic Review prepared by EDB specialists.

ArmInfo.Strong economic growth in most EDB member countries over the past three years was driven by high  investment activity, as investments in fixed capital have been steadily growning at double-digit rates since 2023, as stated in the March Macroeconomic Review prepared by experts from the Eurasian Development Bank.

ArmInfo.The escalated Middle East crisis is the primary new threat to the global economy, according to the EDB's March Macroeconomic Review. It notes that geopolitical tensions have sharply increased since the end of February 2026, the most illustrative example of which is the suspension of transit through the Strait of Hormuz, which handles ~25% of global oil and ~20% of liquefied natural gas. 

ArmInfo. Armenia has one of the highest growth rates of direct investment in the Eurasian region, as stated in the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) report "Investment Cooperation in the Eurasian Region," which was prepared  based on the EDB's monitoring of mutual investments.

ArmInfo. On March 12, the Armenian government approved the draft presidential decree "On Approving the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development on the Terms of the Fund's Location in the Republic of Armenia."

ArmInfo. As part of the North-South Road Corridor construction project, several land plots in the Meghri  community of Armenia's Syunik region have been recognized as priority public interest areas. The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting on March 5.
