The Armenian Foreign Ministry: Benefits for Armenian goods from the evening of November 3 are fully reflected in the EU Integrated Customs Tariff system.

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia has learned from entrepreneurs importing Armenian goods to Belgium that the implementation of the provisions of the EU Autonomous Trade Measures Regulation (TARIC) in the European Union's Integrated Customs Tariff (TARIC) system took time, and the established benefits were not technically reflected in the system. This was stated in a statement by the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia, through the Armenian Mission to the EU, has taken the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

"On November 3, at 7:00 PM (10:00 PM Yerevan time), the benefits established for Armenian goods will be fully reflected in the EU's Integrated Customs Tariff (TARIC) system." Customs duties paid by exporters after October 10, the date the EU's autonomous measures came into force, are subject to refund in accordance with established procedures," the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

As a reminder, on September 24, the EU Council approved a proposal to adopt an EU regulation on the application of autonomous trade measures to Armenian products. Thus, as of October 10, the European Union introduced temporary autonomous trade measures for Armenia, liberalizing approximately 80% of Armenian exports to its market by eliminating or reducing import duties.
