
ArmInfo. Discussions in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on the draft state budget for 2027 will begin on November 2. The Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia approved the schedule for preliminary discussions in parliamentary committees at its October 5 meeting.
As per tradition, the discussions will open with a speech by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The draft law itself will be presented by RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.
As a reminder, the RA government approved the draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2027" at its October 1 meeting. The draft budget for 2027 projects state budget revenues of 3 trillion 603.8 billion drams, expenditures of 4 trillion 72 billion drams, and a deficit of 468.2 billion drams. Approximately 3 trillion 462.7 billion drams of revenue is planned to come from taxes and state duties. State subsidies will amount to approximately 14.2 billion drams, and other revenues will amount to 126.9 billion drams.
According to the draft, the budget deficit is planned to be financed from domestic sources in the amount of approximately 187.5 billion drams and from external sources in the amount of approximately 280.7 billion drams.
The government expects economic growth of 5.8%. The target inflation rate in the country is set at 3% (with an acceptable deviation of +1.5%).
