
ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by Rima Le Coghic, Regional Director for European Neighborhood and Enlargement at the French Development Agency (ADF).
According to the Armenian government's press service, during the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing cooperation in reservoir construction, water resource development, and other areas. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of ongoing discussions between the Armenian government and the Agency in areas such as health insurance, energy, and trade diversification.
The delegation was also received by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. He praised the annual consultation format, noting that it provides an opportunity to identify current cooperation challenges and identify areas for further collaboration through open and constructive dialogue.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the bilateral cooperation agenda, touching on current projects and potential future initiatives in the areas of irrigation infrastructure, agriculture, energy, solid waste management, and private sector development.
It should be noted that the French Development Agency (ADF) was founded in 1998 and operates the bilateral development financial mechanism of the French Republic. Under the jurisdiction of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economy and Finance, Overseas Territories, and the Interior of France, the Agency is a commercial and industrial government agency that combats poverty and promotes economic growth in both developed countries and the French overseas territories. Effective cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the ADF began in 2012.
