ArmInfo. The technology sector must transition from providing services to creating its own products and advanced technologies – deep tech, physical AI, and health tech. This was stated by Tatev Aslanyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence (AI) of Armenia, during the high-level meeting "Freedom 250: Shared Values, Shared Opportunities," organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham Armenia).

She emphasized that this will open up broad opportunities for American investment and joint projects.

The Deputy Minister added that Armenia has the necessary infrastructure, a strong STEM community, and a government that fosters a predictable environment. In this vein, she called on American investors to actively participate in shaping Armenia's technological future.

According to the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Aslanyan presented in detail the country's strategic directions for technological development, emphasizing the importance of creating a predictable AI regulatory system, equitable distribution of GPU resources, and implementing a five-year human capital development program.

According to the source, the event was dedicated to the 250th anniversary of US independence, as well as the expansion of Armenian-American bilateral economic and technological cooperation.
