For the first 9 months of 2026, tax revenues to the state budget of Armenia were exceeded by 14.7%

ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports that in January-September 2026, the state budget of Armenia received 2 trillion 308 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties, which is 14.7% or 295.4 billion drams more than in the same period of the previous year.

At the same time, as the source notes, in January-September 2026, tax revenues and duties of the state budget were exceeded by 126.9 billion drams, or 5.8%, compared to the initial plan and by 89.4 billion drams, or 4%, compared to the revised (revised) figure.

In September of this year alone, 281 billion drams in taxes and duties were transferred to the budget, which is 37.6 billion drams AMD, or approximately 15.4% more than in September of the previous year.

At the same time, in January-September 2026, taxpayers received AMD 250.1 billion in refunds, which is AMD 32.2 billion, or 14.8% more than in January-September 2025.

As a reminder, the state budget of Armenia for 2026 was approved with revenues of AMD 3 trillion 91 billion (an increase of 8.9% compared to 2025) and expenditures of AMD 3 trillion 628 billion, of which AMD 2 trillion 924 billion will be allocated for current expenditures, and AMD 704 billion (5.9% of GDP) for capital expenditures. The budget deficit is projected at 537 billion drams, which is 4.5% of GDP (compared to 5.5% in 2025).
