
ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Gasparyan received a delegation led by Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer.
According to the Ministry of Economy's press service, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in trade and investment, intensive agriculture, industrial cluster development, and the application of modern technologies in manufacturing. They emphasized the importance of organizing bilateral B2B meetings to exchange experiences and develop business ties.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister presented Armenia's economic priorities, including export diversification, increasing productivity, attracting investment, and stimulating the export of high-value-added products.
According to the RA Statistics Committee, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the United States increased by 35.7% in January-July 2026, reaching $291.1 million. Export volumes, however, decreased by 19.5% to $23.8 million, while imports increased by 44.5% to $267.3 million.
