Arminfo. As part of his annual visit to Syunik Province, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin visited Armenia’s leading mining enterprises—the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine and the Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine. The Russian Embassy in Armenia reports this.
According to the source, the ambassador was accompanied by Armenia’s Trade Representative in Russia Sergey Solomin, Russian Ministry of Economic Development representative Anna Ivanova, and head of the Russian Export Center’s office Vardan Yenokyan.
The management of the enterprises briefed the ambassador on the ongoing modernization of technological processes aimed at increasing production volumes and improving environmental conditions.
The ambassador was also informed about the extensive work being carried out to develop the social sphere in Syunik Province.
