
ArmInfo. Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Eduard Hakobyan received representatives of the missions that began operating in Armenia with the support of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to introduce international best practices for improving tax administration processes aimed at identifying unregistered workers, as well as assessing the tax authority and its capabilities in the field of international taxation using the FITAS tool (Framework for International Tax Administration Strengthening).
During the meeting, the IMF representatives presented the results of the meetings and work carried out במסגרת the missions, as well as proposals for improving tax administration aimed at identifying unregistered workers and international taxation processes at Armenia’s SRC. The proposals will make it possible to introduce international best practices at the SRC more effectively and systematically.
The parties also discussed further areas of cooperation aimed at developing the SRC’s capacity, taking into account the results of the IMF missions and the proposals presented. In this context, their readiness to expand cooperation was confirmed in order to increase the efficiency of the SRC’s administration and further improve it.
