Armenia’s State Revenue Committee and Uzbekistan’s Customs Committee establish cooperation

ArmInfo. The Canine Center of the Department for Combating Contraband of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) and the Canine Unit of the customs authorities of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum <On the exchange of experience and cooperation in the canine sector between the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan>.

The document aims to expand cooperation between the canine services of the customs authorities of the two countries, exchange advanced professional experience and modern methods applied in this field, as well as improve the processes of training service dogs and using them in the course of service.

The memorandum also provides for strengthening cooperation in developing the professional knowledge and skills of canine handlers and improving their qualifications.

The signing of the document is an important step toward strengthening professional ties between the customs authorities of Armenia and Uzbekistan and developing the potential of canine services.

According to a statement by the SRC, the memorandum-signing ceremony took place as part of the 7th World Canine Forum of the World Customs Organization, which was held in Uzbekistan.
