ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia is not constrained in the matter of Narek Nalbandyan's business. SRC Chairman Eduard Hakobyan told reporters on September 9.
"The State Revenue Committee of Armenia operates exclusively within the law and does not experience any restrictions or constraints when inspecting or investigating the activities of any entities, including Narek Nalbandyan's business," Hakobyan said. He added that the agency conducts regular monitoring and control measures for all business entities based on a risk assessment system, regardless of names or high-profile publications.
According to the head of the SRC, serious violations were identified as a result of inspections at the "88" supermarket chain. It should be noted that State Revenue Committee Head Eduard Hakobyan's statements came amid recent widespread media and social media discussions of old video footage and messages related to businessman Narek Nalbandyan, who has been linked to the family of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Reacting to these publications, Pashinyan demanded large-scale investigations of Nalbandyan's companies.
