ArmInfo. On September 8, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received representatives of the Oxford Alumni Business Club in Armenia NGO. This was reported in a statement by the government press service.
Board Chairman Alexander Shahikyan first presented details of the activities of the Oxford Alumni Business Club in Armenia. In particular, it was noted that the club is a professional platform for alumni working in Armenia and brings together Oxford-educated individuals representing business, finance, technology, public policy, and professional services.
The Prime Minister was presented with initiatives related to the formation of a global network of Armenian alumni from 50 leading global universities and unlocking their potential, the creation of a fund to support talented youth, and the organization of the Armenian-British Business Forum, scheduled for October in Yerevan.
Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the efforts aimed at forming a global network of Armenian alumni from 50 leading global universities and unlocking their potential in various fields. He noted that combining this initiative with the government's program to attract graduates from the world's top 200 universities into the public sector will contribute to the further implementation of the program's key goals. In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of attracting highly qualified specialists to the public administration system and consistently implementing work in this direction.
The Head of State also welcomed the initiative to establish a fund to support talented youth and, in this regard, emphasized the importance of systemic solutions aimed at unlocking the potential of gifted adolescents and young adults from elementary schools and providing them with a quality education.
Regarding the organization of the "Armenian-British Business Forum," Nikol Pashinyan considered it necessary to establish effective cooperation with the relevant agencies, noting that such events can contribute to the diversification of economic cooperation and the expansion and development of business ties.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation between the Armenian government and the non-governmental organization "Oxford Business Club of Armenia" for the effective implementation of the aforementioned initiatives.
