ArmInfo. Revenue from the Armenian communications sector for January-July 2026 accelerated in year-on-year growth from 1.6% to 7.2%, amounting to 104.1 billion drams.
According to data from the RA Statistics Committee, the telecommunications sector accounts for the lion's share of total revenue - 93.5% or 97.4 billion drams, also with an accelerated year-on-year growth from 2% to 7.7%.
Moreover, in July of this year alone, total revenue from the communications sector increased by 6.8% to 16.7 billion. AMD, of which 15.8 billion AMD (up 8.7% month-on-month) was generated by the telecommunications sector.
For comparison, in January-July 2025, Armenia's communications revenue amounted to 97.3 billion AMD, of which 90.6 billion was generated by the telecommunications sector.
