Armenian businesses account for less than three percent of the number of companies with foreign participation in Russia

ArmInfo. Armenian businesses account for less than three percent of the number of companies with foreign participation in Russia, according to a study by the Rusprofile counterparty verification service for RIA Novosti.

"Currently, 1,736 companies registered by founders from Armenia operate in Russia. They account for 2.6 percent of the total number of organizations with foreign participation," analysts reported.

From 2021 to 2025, the number of such enterprises increased 2.3-fold. For comparison: as of December 31, 2021, 518 companies with founders from the Transcaucasian country were opened in Russia, of which 257 are still operating.

Most often, Armenian entrepreneurs are involved in: wholesale and retail trade; construction of buildings and roads; road freight transport; Restaurant and food delivery services; real estate rental and management; dental practices.
