
ArmInfo.Under the chairmanship of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a meeting was held on August 21 to discuss issues related to institutional reforms in the field of technical control over construction quality.
According to the government's press service, during the meeting, Yeghiazar Vardanyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee, presented detailed information on the digitalization of construction quality technical control and the modernization of legal regulations. These measures aim to improve professional qualifications and project quality, adopt a new pricing policy, rate construction and development companies, encourage the use of international building certification systems, and develop the institute of multi-apartment building management and maintenance. It was emphasized that as a result of the reforms, the integration of all process participants into a single electronic system is expected, along with the online execution of contracts, real-time tracking of work, online access to information for regulatory authorities, the ensuring of transparency and process control, and the enhancement of construction quality. In this context, discussions took place regarding the implementation, scalability, functionality, and maintenance of the construction project management and technical control implementation system.
Highlighting the process aimed at improving quality and control in construction, the Prime Minister noted the importance of compliance checks at all stages and instructed that necessary steps be taken to implement this system.
