Armenia`s ICT segment surges multi-fold in H1 2026

ArmInfo. Armenia's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector recorded 12.1% year-over-year revenue growth in the first half of 2026 (compared to  12.6% growth in H1 2025), reaching AMD 622.4 billion ($1.6 billion),  according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

The dominant segment of Armenia's ICT sector—the services  sector—accounted for 68.8%, or 428.1 billion drams (an annual growth  of 12.7%). Of this, information technology generated – 341.1 billion  drams (an annual increase of 14.3%), while the telecommunications  segment generated 81.6 billion drams (an annual increase of 5.9%).

The share of the ICT production segment is negligible – 0.4% or 2,605  billion drams, but the annual growth is significant – 25.2 times. ICT  revenue in the trade sector for the reporting period increased by  9.2% totaling 191.6 billion drams.

It is worth noting that the average exchange rate of the dram against  the US dollar in the first half of 2026 was 374.32 AMD/USD, and in  June – 368.26 AMD/USD.
