ArmInfo. In January-July 2026, 1.240 million tourists visited Armenia, a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the Tourism Committee, in July alone (compared to June of this year), the number of tourists decreased by 8.1% to 198,700, while compared to July 2025, the decline was 24.6%.
The lion's share of tourists are in the 35-44 age category (25%), followed by those aged 25-34 and 45-54 (19% each), and those aged 55-64. (13%), etc.
Traditionally, citizens of Russia (40%), Georgia (15%), Iran (8%), as well as China, Germany, the United States (2% each), Ukraine (1.5%), France (1.3%), Italy, and India (1% each), and others, prefer to vacation in Armenia.
