ArmInfo. As of June 30, instead of the planned 44.6 billion drams, Yerevan managed to collect 49.2 billion drams in its own revenues in the first half of the year. This was announced by David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Yerevan Municipality's Revenue Accounting and Collection Department, during a working meeting of the Mayor's Office on July 20.
He noted that the plan was exceeded by more than 4.5 billion drams, and by 10 billion drams compared to the same figure for 2025. The lion's share of the city's own revenue comes from property taxes (25%), followed by fees for construction and design permits (21%), public transportation fares (17%), and others. All of the capital's administrative districts exceeded their revenue collection targets, with the exception of the Erebuni, Kentron, and Nubarashen districts.
In this regard, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan emphasized that the additional funds collected will be used for the construction of new transportation hubs and road repairs. "The primary focus should be on improving road conditions," he said.
