Armenia, Bulgaria discuss opportunities to expand cooperation in  energy sector

ArmInfo.  Armenian Ambassador to Bulgaria Tsovinar Hambardzumyan met with Bulgarian Deputy Energy Minister Lyubomira Gancheva to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and developing a strategic  partnership between the two countries.

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria,  the two sides exchanged views on recent regional developments in the  South Caucasus and emphasized the importance of the recently signed  Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Armenia and Bulgaria,  which creates a solid foundation for expanding cooperation in a  number of strategic areas, including the energy sector.

The parties emphasized the importance of holding consultations on  bilateral and multilateral transport infrastructure development  projects of mutual interest, in accordance with the areas outlined in  the Declaration.

Ambartsumyan presented the Armenian government's "Crossroads of  Peace" initiative, emphasizing its potential to strengthen regional  connectivity, promote economic cooperation, and ensure stability and  prosperity in the region.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening  Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation and expressed confidence that  continued dialogue and practical cooperation will contribute to the  further deepening of the strategic partnership between the two  friendly countries.
