Tsarukyan promises to resolve Armenian cargo truck crisis triggered  by Russian restrictions, within one day

ArmInfo.  Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), has assured that he can resolve the crisis surrounding Armenian cargo trucks, whose entry has been restricted following Russia's import bans on Armenian goods, within a single day. He made this statement during a campaign rally  in Armenia's Ararat Province.

According to Tsarukyan, the current Armenian authorities have  essentially initiated an economic war with Russia. In his view, the  administration fails to comprehend the potential ramifications of its  actions.  "The authorities do not understand that tomorrow or the day  after, they will simply have nowhere to send products like flowers,  which were previously exported to Russia, because Armenia does not  have a large enough domestic market to purchase them. Today, truck  drivers, farmers, and business owners are all facing critical  challenges and do not know what to do. They do not see what lies  ahead. As things stand, it looks like we are headed toward  devastation and bankruptcy, with no clear path to recovery,"  Tsarukyan pointed out.

However, he reassured the audience that the Armenian people have an  alternative to the current situation.  Tsarukyan recalled that  relations between Armenia and Russia span a millennium, and noted  that Armenian products have always been in demand on the Russian  market.  "At the same time, when even Turkey cannot fully enter the  European market, how can anyone expect Armenia to do so? Under the  current authorities, people are not living—they are merely  surviving," Tsarukyan declared.

In conclusion, the PAP leader assured that he could resolve the issue  with Armenian trucks quickly. "We have trucks too. I understand  perfectly well. Give me one day, and I'll solve this issue,"  Tsarukyan concluded.
