ArmInfo. Toll international highways will appear in Armenia, for now, however, for heavy trucks. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a campaign in the Gegharknik region.
According to him, there is a proposal to build similar roads that will connect the Tavush, Lori, and Shirak regions. Discussions are also underway to restore the railway near the village of
Lermontovo, which will connect with the Ijevan-Hrazdan road and then with the Vanadzor-Gyumri junction. This, Pashinyan noted, will make it possible to connect the north and south via a railway network.
