According to data provided by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, this figure represents a 48% decrease compared to the same period last year. According to the source, 974,200 citizens entered Armenia from abroad during the reporting period, a 2.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, 966,400 citizens left the country, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 0.8%.

Moreover, in Q1 2026, 411,600 Armenian citizens entered Armenia (a 6.1% year-on-year decline), while 392,000 departed (a 8.7% year-on-year decline). In Q1 2026, Armenia welcomed 453,138 tourists visited Armenia, which marks a 17.2% increase compared to Q1 2025.
