ArmInfo. With Team's support, hundreds of schoolchildren from the Tavush region took part in the "Symphony Class" cultural and educational program. The program aims to increase accessibility to classical music for schoolchildren, develop cultural appreciation, and foster a generation interested in the arts.
According to Team's press service, "Symphony Class" is a long-term educational program launched in 2018 at the initiative of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia.
The program aims to change the traditional perception of classical music, making it more accessible and engaging for teenagers and young adults, and stimulating their engagement in cultural life. Through interactive lessons held as part of the program, schoolchildren are introduced to the characteristics of classical music and musical instruments, and also have the opportunity to attend live concerts, gaining first- hand cultural experience.
Team Telecom Armenia Commercial Director Tigran Frangyan noted that, in addition to supporting educational programs and regional development initiatives, the company places great importance on cultural education, as well as the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage to the younger generation.
"We are pleased that, together with our long-standing strategic partner, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, we have implemented another initiative that promotes youth development, including increasing access to cultural education for children living in Armenia's regions," he said.
Tatevik Adamyan, Head of the Symphony Class Educational Program, added that the program provides an opportunity to rediscover classical music, as well as Armenian and international cultural values. "Thanks to our partnership with Team, the program has become available to hundreds of children in the Koghb community, giving them the opportunity to become part of this wonderful cultural movement," she noted. Since its launch, the program has been implemented in over 200 schools in both the regions and the capital, reaching approximately 73,000 students. The students participated in interactive classes and attended a concert by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
