Therefore, as noted in the draft law's justification, the document is developed in accordance with the new function assigned to the ministry: implementing the policy for the introduction and development of artificial intelligence and cloud computing services.
It is noted that the change is related to the government's program for 2021-2026, which, in the section on "high technologies," notes that the creation of a modern digital environment is of strategic importance for Armenia, as it is viewed as an effective tool for management, production, and development.
