Kazakh Atomic Energy Agency delegation  holds discussions at   Ministry of Territorial Administration

ArmInfo.Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan received a delegation from the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by its Chairman, Almasad Satkaliyev.

The discussion focused on energy sector trends, and the potential for  the development of nuclear and solar energy. The parties expressed  their willingness to continue cooperation in this area, to share  expertise  and exchange necessary information.

Minister Khudatyan emphasized the significance of Armenia and  Kazakhstan's close cooperation  in the peaceful use of nuclear energy  within CIS member states.

Recall, in November 2025, Armenia and Kazakhstan signed a memorandum  of cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy. It should be  noted that the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan is  a government agency responsible for implementing policy on the  peaceful use of nuclear energy, developing the nuclear industry, and  coordinating relevant projects in the country. The Agency  participates in the development of nuclear energy strategies,  including the possible construction of nuclear power plants, and also  ensures interaction with international organizations, primarily the  International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
