
ArmInfo.Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Director for Central and Eastern European countries and Vice President of Veolia company, Philippe Guitard.
According to the government press service, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, particularly focusing on improving the quality of water supply, reducing water losses, and improving drinking water systems.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their willingness to continue effective and constructive cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Aramazd Ghalamkaryan, Chairman of the Water Committee of Armenia, and Marianna Shahinyan, General Director of "Veolia Jur".
Recall, Veolia Jur is the sole water supply and wastewater operator in Yerevan and the regions of Armenia, a subsidiary of the French company Veolia Generale des Eaux. The company has been managing the system since 2017 under a 15-year lease agreement.
