ArmInfo. The 2% cashback program for purchases using ArCA cards, which launched on January 1, 2026, is being successfully implemented. RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this in a video address.
According to him, 278,000 citizens took advantage of the program in January of this year, receiving a total of 213 million drams in cashback. In February, the number of program participants already reached 306,000. "This practically means that your purchases will cost you 2% less," the Finance Minister noted.
As a reminder, starting January 1, citizens will receive a 2% cashback on non-cash purchases made using ArCa payment cards. The program applies to individuals purchasing goods and services using ArCa cards. Cashback will be accrued for purchases made in the previous month and returned on the 25th of the following month. According to the program's terms, the cashback amount is 2% of the purchase amount, but several restrictions apply. Specifically, the minimum transaction amount must be at least 1,000 drams, and the maximum cashback amount per transaction is 6,000 drams. The maximum monthly cashback for an individual is set at 60,000 drams, which corresponds to cashless purchases of up to 3 million drams. The program currently applies only to ArCa cards and does not apply to Visa and MasterCard transactions. This is due to the program's funding structure: 1% of the cashback is covered by the state budget, and the other 1% is funded by Armenian Card CJSC.
