Final meeting of  IMF mission to Armenia held at Finance Ministry 

ArmInfo.  The final meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Armenia was chaired by Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan and attended by a delegation led by mission chief Alexander Ferenc Timan.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the  Minister highly praised the effective and constructive work carried  out during the two-week mission, emphasizing that discussions and  interaction are crucial for enhancing Armenia's macroeconomic  stability and advancing structural reforms.  The meeting involved a  through discussion  of the draft Memorandum of Economic and Financial  Policies (MEFP) between the Republic of Armenia and the IMF. The  process in implementing the structural objectives set by the IMF and  their satisfactory progress were also addressed. Both parties  expressed their gratitude for the active and meaningful dialogue,  noting that the wide range of issues discussed during the mission and  the progress achieved would enhance  bilateral cooperation.  At the  end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to  continue effective cooperation.

Recall, in early December 2025, the Executive Board of the  International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a new three-year Stand-By  Arrangement (SBA) with Armenia for a total of SDR 128.8 million, or  approximately $175 million (100% of Armenia's IMF quota).  Simultaneously, the IMF completed the previous sixth review under the  SBA, set to expire on December 11, 2025.
