A Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the Armenia Stock Exchange and the Russian-Armenian University

ArmInfo. We are pleased to announce that the Armenia Stock Exchange and the Russian-Armenian University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at building new bridges of knowledge, experience, and opportunity between Armenia’s capital market and the academic community.

At the core of this cooperation is the implementation of educational programs on capital markets, the development of the professional potential of students and young specialists, and the strengthening of practical skills to prepare more competitive professionals for the labor market. Starting in February, students have access to the elective module “Capital Markets,” taught by leading specialists from the Armenia Stock Exchange, which will provide both theoretical knowledge and real market experience. Until the end of the current academic year, joint courses with capital market participant companies, expert discussions, and student involvement in real market processes are also planned, ensuring an effective combination of academic education and practical experience.

Hayk Yeganyan, CEO of the Armenia Stock Exchange, noted: “For us, this cooperation is not merely an educational initiative. It is an investment in the future of Armenia’s capital market. We aim to provide young professionals not only with knowledge, but also with real experience and a platform to confidently build their professional careers. We are confident that close cooperation between education, and the market is what shapes a competitive and sustainable financial system.”

The Armenia Stock Exchange consistently continues to support educational programs, emphasizing the combination of quality education and practical skills as a cornerstone for building a strong financial system and a sustainable economy.

This memorandum is another step toward the development of a knowledge-based, competitive capital market in Armenia aligned with international standards.
