ArmInfo. An oil product processing plant is set to be built in the Ararat region. The project, owned by <Sil Capital>, will require an investment of $20 million. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the plant will create over 100 jobs and involve around 400 specialists in various fields throughout the project's implementation.
The investment program envisages the phased construction of warehouses for storing oil products and bitumen, a bitumen production plant, a hydrocarbon processing plant, and the establishment of local production for various types of oil products. The Ministry of Economy stated that meeting the full production capacity for bitumen production volumes will satisfy the demand for this product not only in Armenia, but also in the region.
