ArmInfo.In order to qualify for reimbursement of social expenses related to education and sports within the framework of the general income declaration, one must first ensure that the services they receive from educational institutions or individuals are approved by the authorized state body in the field of education.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Araksia Svajyan on February 17 at a press conference, in response to a question from ArmInfo.
Let us recall that on February 13, the government declared that social expenses also include costs for training by music, art, dance schools, school organizations and centers, children's and youth sports and other extracurricular programs, as well as informal educational programs recommended by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports; expenses for renting textbooks within the framework of secondary general and special education programs; and expenses for dental services in 2024-2025. Compensation for social expenses is granted if the expenses were made in a non-cash form, except for textbook rental expenses, where payment proof is not required.
Within a week, a separate section will be created on the official website of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. This section will include information on guaranteed educational programs, as well as a list of organizations whose students are eligible for reimbursement of social expenses.
