
ArmInfo.By the end of 2025, Armenia's public debt will increase by nearly 900 billion drams, rising from 5 trillion 037 billion to 5 trillion 914 billion drams.
This was stated by RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan, during a meeting of the RA National Assembly Committee on Economic Issues on November 6. According to him, a total of $1.247 billion in loans is planned to be attracted in the next financial year.
Additionally, 290.6 billion drams, approximately equivalent to $750 million, will be allocated to repay the debt of the RA government. Furthermore, the minister noted that in 2025, through the issuance of new Eurobonds totaling $500 million, the remaining balance of $313.2 million on previously placed Eurobonds will be fully repaid. The country's budget deficit will increase by approximately 600 billion drams. The Ministry of Finance has included a calculated exchange rate of 420-430 drams per dollar in the state budget.
