ArmInfo. During his working visit to the Russian Federation within the framework of the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom", the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.
According to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Narek Teryan and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Vladimirovich Gruzdev.
Gevorg Papoyan congratulated his Russian colleague on taking office and wished him fruitful work.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for growth in trade turnover, joint implementation of industrial projects and a number of issues related to the pharmaceutical sector.
The activities of Rusal Armenal CJSC, the Alliance free economic zone and the continuation of their further work were also touched upon.
Gevorg Papoyan presented Alikhanov with the initiative of the RA government "Crossroads of Peace", which will contribute to political stability and economic development in the region.
