ArmInfo. On December 5,  head of the RA Food Safety Inspection Body Armen Hayrapetyan and head  of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control Service of the Russian Federation Sergey Dankvert met in Moscow.

As the press service of the Armenian department informs, negotiations  have been held regarding the problems that have arisen in recent days  in the process of importing goods produced in Armenia to Russia.   Armen Hayrapetyan noted that the Inspectorate is consistently  implementing all comprehensive control measures to prevent the  delivery of goods to Russia with violations. It guaranteed greater  transparency and reliability of phytosanitary certification of  exported products to ensure traceability and safety of supplied  products.

Sergey Dankvert assured that the Russian department shows the same  attitude when monitoring any vegetable products imported into Russia,  and takes adequate measures for each identified violation, regardless  of the sending country.
