ArmInfo.Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a consultation was held in the Government on the macroeconomic and fiscal framework of the draft state budget 2024, the PM's press service reports.
As Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan noted, the draft state budget has been discussed with all departments.
It was noted that the work of developing the draft budget is being carried out taking into account the economic developments and forecasts of Armenia and the world. An exchange of ideas took place on the presented draft of the state budget, a number of issues related to the capital expenditures defined by the Action Plan of the Government, directions of the fiscal policy were discussed. Reference was also made to the priorities and goals of the Government, and the importance of implementing reforms aimed at increasing economic growth was emphasized. A number of proposals were presented.
Nikol Pashinyan instructed to continue the discussions and bring the draft state budget to its final form, taking into account the results of today's discussions.
