ArmInfo.  In the first half of 2025, the net inflow of private transfers to Armenia decreased to 1.3% annually (compared to a decline of 33.7% the previous year),  totaling $587.6 million. Specifically, the inflow increased by 9.2%  to $2.8 billion, while the outflow increased by 12.4% to $2.2  billion. Additionally, there is an opposite trend in the dynamics of   inflow and outflow of non- commercial transfers - the former grew by  9.8% (to $520.7 million), while the latter decreased by 5.2% (to $208  million), resulting in a 22.6% increase in net inflow to $312.7  million.

ArmInfo. NVIDIA will deploy a thousand Blackwell graphics processors in the region, as stated by the leader of the Republic party, Aram Sargsyan, referring to the  statement made by NVIDIA President and CEO Jensen Huang.

ArmInfo.  According to the results of the first quarter, Armenia's GDP growth reached 5.1%, showing an increase in the growth rate to 5.9% in the second quarter.  The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, shared this  information on his Facebook page. He noted that the draft budget at  the end of last year had projected  a  5.1%  GDP growth for 2025. 

ArmInfo. The peace framework agreement between Armenia (BB-/Stable) and Azerbaijan (BBB-/Stable) is a positive step towards a comprehensive deal and reduces the risk  of renewed hostilities, although obstacles remain, Fitch Ratings  says. Achieving a peace agreement is unlikely to immediately affect  either country's ratings, but could support positive medium-term  credit trends, notably via expanded trade that may boost growth,  although this is difficult to quantify.  

ArmInfo.  About 68 billion drams (about $176 million) have already been returned to 'mortgage holders' under the income tax refund program in Armenia.

ArmInfo.  The construction of a new Iran-Armenia power transmission line is in its final stage, it will allow Armenia to double the volume of electricity exports to  Iran, and potentially increase these volumes even further in the  future, as stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, David Khudatyan, to  reporters on August 19.
