The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union will provide 21146263 euros to Armenia for the modernization and expansion of the Meghri checkpoint on the Armenian-Iranian border. As the press  service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia  reports, head of the Ministry of Finance Atom Janjughazyan and Head  of EBRD Armenia Office Dimitri Gvindadze have signed the document on  February 7.

ArmInfo.The annual growth in foreign trade between Armenia and Russia in 2019 accelerated to 14.9% from 11.2% in 2018, exceeding $ 2.2 billion. This was triggered by an acceleration in the growth of imports - from 7.2% to 17.4%, with a  slowdown in growth exports from 19.6% to 10.3%, the volumes of which  amounted to $ 1.5 billion and $ 734.5 million, respectively.   According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia,  Russia holds the lead by a large margin.
