RA CB withdraws second-generation banknotes from circulation

ArmInfo.  The Central Bank of Armenia announced the final withdrawal of this year's second- generation banknotes from circulation. According to a press release from the central bank, after April 15, 2026, citizens will be able to exchange all  second-generation banknotes free of charge at commercial banks  operating in the Republic of Armenia and at the Central Bank without  any restrictions.

Armenia should consider global factors in TRIPP project  implementation - expert

ArmInfo. When implementing the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) project, Armenia should consider global factors rather than focusing  on a specific section of the railway bordering Iran. Gagik  Aghajanyan, executive director of Apaven, one of Armenia's largest  transport and logistics companies, expressed a similar view in an  interview with an ArmInfo correspondent.

Programs co-funded by government not to be taxable in Armenia

ArmInfo. By December 31, 2025, Armenia's public debt had increased by approximately $1.7 billion, or 13.1%, to $14.531 billion compared to the end of December 2024. At  the end of December 2017, Armenia's total public debt was $6.774  billion, and by the time Nikol Pashinyan's government was formed, at  the end of April 2018, this figure was at $6.867 billion.
