Ardshinbank— Armenia’s No. 1 Taxpayer in Direct Taxes Again

ArmInfo. According to the results for the first three quarters of 2025 published by the State Revenue Committee, Ardshinbank became the largest taxpayer of Armenia, transferring AMD 32.3 billion to the state budget. Including AMD 2 billion in indirect taxes and other fees, Ardshinbank’s total tax payments amounted to AMD 34.3 billion, which also includes AMD 2.4 billion in tax contributions from Ardshininvestbank that merged with Ardshinbank on April 21, 2025.

Slowdown in industrial sector  leading to deceleration in  industrial  price index growth

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, the industrial price index in January- September 2025 was 103.1%  (compared to 102.9% in the same period of 2024). This slight change  was seen amidst a decline in the annual dynamics of the industrial  sector, shifting from 12.6% growth to 5.7% decline, with a volume of  2.1 trillion drams ($5.3 billion),  according to preliminary data  from the RA Statistics Committee. In September 2025, compared to  September 2024, the industrial price index saw a more significant  increase rising from 102.9% to 105.9%./ This increase was observed  alongside accelerated industrial sector growth from 4.6% to 10.1%.

Foreign debt`s share in Armenia`s GDP could be increased - minister

ArmInfo. Despite the increase in absolute public debt, Armenia's debt-to-GDP ratio in 2026 will remain at the same level as in 2025. This was stated by RA  Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan on October 27 during the  presentation of the draft 2026 state budget to the National Assembly  committees.

7.6% economic activity growth in Armenia in Jan-Sept, 2025

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, economic activity growth slowed to 7.6% annually in January-September 2025 (from 8.7% in the same period of 2024). Moreover, the industrial  sector, which was one of the growth drivers a year earlier, is  weakening the pace of economic growth with the current downturn.  According to preliminary data from the RA Statistics Committee, this  is accompanied by a deterioration in the foreign trade trend from  significant growth to a significant decline.

ArmInfo.  Ardshinbank has entered the top 5 of the list of 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia based on the results of the first nine months of 2025. The bank paid  32 billion drams (over $83 million) to the state treasury. Moreover,  Ardshinbank quadrupled its budget payments year-on-year, moving up  from 24th to 5th place, as evidenced by published data from the State  Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
